Since 2022, Michigan State University's Fisheries and Wildlife Club has been stewards for the peregrine falcon nestbox on top of Spartan Stadium. Over the last three years, 10 falcon chicks have been banded - including Reggie, Acorn and Franklin this year to track their travels as they leave their nest and spread their wings into adulthood.

how would these work in a greenhouse setting? anyone know? I get the sense that it would be absorbing a portion of the energy but not all of it. Would be an interesting application if we could combine this with vertical greenhouses like that massive one in texas. think of the sustainability!

Car racing is one of the most physically demanding sports that exists. The g-forces and heat that they have to deal with would make most people black out. Not to mention the insanely difficult mental challenge.

How many times a week do they go to the field to practice?
Did you watch the video? Kinda tough to practice every day of the week when those facilities (racetracks) are not common, and simply transporting the car and running it costs thousands of dollars in just fuel and tires. These guys are in the gym 6 days a week and racing on the 7th.
